Monel Ball Valves consist mostly of 63% nickel and 28-34% copper, with trace amounts of iron, manganese, and carbon. The composition has outstanding resistance to corrosion, particularly in seawater, acids, and alkalis. The mechanical properties are a tensile strength of around 70,000 psi and superior resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, and stress corrosion cracking. Physical characteristics of Monel Ball Valves include high melting point of 1,400°C with outstanding toughness and resilience in severe environments. They are perfectly suitable for high-pressure and high-temperature conditions and ensure long service life.
