Titanium Ball Valves are generally produced from titanium alloys like Ti-6Al-4V or commercially pure titanium (Grade 2). The chemical composition is 94-98% titanium and minor portions of aluminum, vanadium, and other alloying components. The mechanical strength is tensile strength 550-1,200 MPa, yield strength 480-1,100 MPa, and elongation 15-20%. The physical characteristics comprise a density of 4.43-4.51 g/cm³, a melting point of 1,660°C, and high corrosion resistance, particularly in demanding environments such as seawater and aggressive chemicals. The valves provide superior reliability and durability in mission-critical systems.
