Titanium Forged Fittings are usually produced using commercially pure titanium (Grade 2) or titanium alloys like Grade 5 (Ti-6Al-4V) and have superior corrosion resistance along with high strength. Composition consists of titanium, aluminum, and vanadium in alloys like Grade 5. Mechanical properties consist of tensile strength as 900 MPa, yield strength as 830 MPa, and elongation as 10-15%. Density is 4.43 g/cm³, hence these fittings are light but durable. Titanium has a high oxidation resistance, great fatigue strength, and toughness, perfectly suited for heavy-duty use in chemical processing, marine, and aerospace industries.
