Super Duplex Needle Valves consist of 25% chromium, 7% molybdenum, 4% nickel, and nitrogen, with the remainder iron. The composition guarantees better strength and superior resistance to corrosion, pitting, and crevice corrosion in hostile environments. The mechanical properties are a tensile strength of at least 80 ksi (550 MPa) and a yield strength of 50 ksi (345 MPa). The compound has a density of 7.8 g/cm³ and a melting point of approximately 1350°C (2462°F). Such valves are suited for accurate control of flow in high-temperature, high-pressure applications, ensuring long life and durability.
