Duplex Manifold Valves are constructed using Duplex Stainless Steel (such as UNS S31803, S32205), which possesses a balanced composition of 50% ferrite and 50% austenite. Compositions are typically 22-25% chromium, 4-7% nickel, 2-3% molybdenum, and low carbon. These compositions provide exceptional corrosion resistance, particularly in environments high in chlorides. Properties are tensile strength of 620-800 MPa, yield strength of 450-550 MPa, and elongation of 25-30%, which provide enhanced strength over normal stainless steels. These valves are particularly intended for high-pressure and corrosive applications in oil & gas, petrochemical, and marine environments, so they are highly durable and reliable.
