Inconel Needle Valves consist mainly of nickel (approximately 72%) and chromium (14-17%), with trace levels of iron, molybdenum, and titanium, which exhibit superior resistance to oxidation, heat, and corrosion. The mechanical properties are high tensile strength, from 130,000 to 200,000 psi, coupled with superior creep and fatigue resistance. Inconel’s low thermal expansion and high melting point of around 1,400°C result in these valves being perfect for high-temperature and high-pressure applications. They are used in the aerospace, chemical processing, and power generation industries for accurate flow control in challenging conditions.
