Duplex Steel Screws are produced from an austenitic-ferritic stainless steel blend that has approximately 22% chromium, 5% nickel, and 3% molybdenum. This alloy is highly resistant to corrosion, particularly in chloride conditions. The mechanical characteristics of Duplex Steel include high tensile strength (approximately 620 MPa), sound yield strength (450 MPa) and superior fatigue life. Physically, they have a high melting point (1400°C), low thermal expansion, and good weldability. Due to their strength and corrosion resistance, they are best suited for severe service in harsh environments.
