Duplex Steel check valves are produced using Duplex Steel S32205 or S31803, which generally comprises about 22-23% chromium, 4.50-6.50% nickel, and 3.0-3.5% molybdenum mixed with iron. It provides high strength, good corrosion resistance, and good protection from stress corrosion cracking and pitting. The check valves are discovered to be of higher toughness and durability, which are ideal for challenging applications. They offer great resistance to chloride corrosion and are also cost-effective compared to super duplex steel, making them a high-demand material in extreme chemical, oil and gas, and marine conditions.
