AWS Class ENiCrMo-4 Coated Electrodes consist mainly of nickel (about 55%), chromium (about 20%), and molybdenum (about 5%), with better resistance to high temperature, oxidation, and corrosion. The mechanical properties are tensile strength of 80-100 ksi, yield strength of 60 ksi and elongation of 30%. These electrodes exhibit excellent creep and thermal fatigue resistance. In terms of physical characteristics, they possess a high melting point, which provides for the creation of strong, long-lasting welds. This makes them suitable for use in industries like aerospace, power generation and petrochemical.
