AWS Class ENiCrMo-3 coated electrodes consist mainly of Nickel (Ni: ~58%), Chromium (Cr: 20-23%), Molybdenum (Mo: 8-10%), Iron (Fe: ≤10%), and other traces of elements such as Mn, Nb, and Si. They possess superior mechanical properties, i.e., a tensile strength of ~690 MPa, yield strength of ~450 MPa, and elongation of ~30%. Their physical characteristics are a density of ~8.5 g/cm³, electrical resistivity of ~1.25 µΩ·m, and a melting range of 1270-1355°C. These electrodes offer excellent corrosion and high-temperature resistance for demanding applications.
