AWS Class ERNiCrMo-3 MIG and TIG filler welding rod and wire contain predominantly nickel (≥50%), along with chromium (20-23%), molybdenum (8-10.5%), iron (≤6%), and traces of cobalt and manganese. The alloys provide excellent mechanical characteristics such as a tensile strength of around 760 MPa, yield strength of 400 MPa and elongation of 30%. Physical characteristics comprise a density of 8.44 g/cm³ and melting range of 1270-1350°C. Engineered for exceptional corrosion resistance, they excel in extreme conditions, such as chemical processing and marine use.
