Waspalloy Sheets and Plates consist of a superalloy with high strength based on nickel, which mainly consists of nickel, chromium, molybdenum, and trace amounts of titanium, cobalt, and aluminum. The composition offers superior resistance to oxidation at high temperatures, creep, and corrosion. Mechanical properties are a tensile strength of around 1,250 MPa and a yield strength of around 1,100 MPa. Waspalloy possesses superior resistance to thermal fatigue and stress corrosion. It has a density of 8.9 g/cm³ and excels in harsh temperatures, thus being well suited for aerospace and high-performance turbine applications.
