Nitinol Sheets and Plates consist mainly of Nickel (55-56%) and Titanium (44-45%) with small amounts of iron, carbon and oxygen. They also possess remarkable mechanical properties with a tensile strength of 754-960 MPa yield strength of 560-760 MPa and elongation of 10-15% and hardness between 30-50 HRC. Nitinol is physically 6.45 g/cm³ in density, 1,310°C melting point and 18 W/m·K thermal conductivity. These features make Nitinol resistant to high stress with minimal change from the original structure. Its capacity to revert to its pre-formed configuration makes it a perfect fit for precision parts needing durability and extreme flexibility.
