MP35N plates and sheets consist of a nickel-cobalt-based alloy containing about 33-37% Co, 19-21% Cr, 9-10.5% Mo, and balance Ni, which has superior corrosion resistance and high strength. MP35N is mechanically characterized by an ultimate tensile strength of up to 300 ksi (2068 MPa) and a hardness of up to 55 HRC after work hardening and aging. It also maintains toughness and ductility even in harsh environments. Physically, it has a density of 8.43 g/cm³, 1315-1440°C melting range, and superior oxidation resistance, and it is well suited for aerospace, medical, and marine uses.
