Alloy C263 plates and sheets are nickel-based superalloys that possess good high-temperature strength, oxidation resistance, and weldability. Their chemistry consists of nickel (base), cobalt (19-21%), chromium (19-21%), molybdenum (5.6-6.1%), titanium (1.9-2.4%), and aluminum (0.6%), along with traces of boron and carbon. They are mechanically strong with high tensile strength, possess good creep resistance, and have excellent formability. Alloy C263 physically has a density of 8.36 g/cm³, a melting range of 1260-1355°C, and superior thermal stability. These characteristics make it perfect for aerospace, gas turbines, combustion chambers, and other high-temperature uses.
