Copper Tungsten 80/20 Sheet and Plate contain 80% tungsten and 20% copper, both having good thermal conductivity as well as good wear resistance. It possesses mechanical properties such as tensile strength ranging between 600–800 MPa and hardness ranging between 180–200 HV. The material is found to have good thermal conductivity (190 W/m·K) and electrical conductivity (28% IACS). It is found to have a density of around 15.6 g/cm³ with a melting point of around 3,400°C. These characteristics render it suitable for electrical contacts, heat sinks and for high-temperature use in aerospace and electronic industries.
