Invar plates and sheets consist of Nickel (35-37%), Iron (balance), Carbon (≤0.05%), Manganese (≤0.6%), Silicon (≤0.5%), Phosphorus (≤0.025%) and Sulfur (≤0.025%). Exhibiting outstanding low thermal expansion and stability of dimensions. These plates and sheets possess superior mechanical properties, such as tensile strength of 485 MPa (70 ksi), yield strength of 240 MPa (35 ksi), and elongation of 30%. With a density of 8.1 g/cm³, melting point of 1430-1450°C and low coefficient of thermal expansion, Invar plates and sheets provide reliability in temperature-sensitive applications.
