Beryllium Copper plates and sheets are copper alloys with 0.5–3% beryllium and occasional addition of elements such as cobalt or nickel. They provide high strength, superior conductivity and corrosion resistance. Their physical properties consist of a tensile strength of as much as 1,400 MPa upon aging, good fatigue strength, and better hardness. They physically possess a density of approximately 8.3 g/cm³, a melting point of around 870–980°C and superior thermal and electrical conductivity. These characteristics render them suitable for aerospace, electronic, and industrial uses demanding endurance and conductivity.
