Manganese Bronze sheets and plates consist of Copper (55-65%), Zinc (20-25%), Aluminum (up to 3.5%), Manganese (up to 3.5%), Iron (2-5%), and trace elements such as Nickel, Tin, and Lead. They provide good mechanical properties such as tensile strength of 550-800 MPa, yield strength of 250-450 MPa, elongation of 15-25%, and Brinell hardness of 150-210 HB. Their physical properties are such that they have a density of 7.7-8.2 g/cm³, melting point of 865-1025°C, thermal conductivity of 50-80 W/m·K, and electrical resistivity of 0.3-0.5 µΩ·m, which makes them have superior wear resistance and durability.
