Mu Metal Round Bars consist mainly of Nickel (77-80%), Iron (15-17%), Molybdenum (2-5%), and Copper (0-5%), providing them with extremely high magnetic permeability. They provide good mechanical properties such as tensile strength of 415-485 MPa, yield strength of 310 MPa, and elongation of 30-50%. The physical properties are a density of 8.7 g/cm³, a melting point of around 1450°C, and a thermal conductivity of 21 W/m·K. Mu Metal has high permeability and low coercivity, so it is very suitable for electromagnetic shielding and magnetic interference reduction.
