Beryllium Copper Round Bar is a high-performance alloy mainly made of copper (about 97-98%) combined with 0.5-2% beryllium and minimal quantities of cobalt or nickel for improved properties. It exhibits superior mechanical strength, with tensile strength of up to 1400 MPa following heat treatment, as well as superior hardness and abrasion resistance. The alloy possesses good electrical and thermal conductivity, and thus it’s suited for precision parts. With a density of about 8.3 g/cm³ and a melting point of about 865°C, it has good corrosion resistance and is extensively applied in aerospace, electrical, and industrial fields.
