Tantalum Rods consist of 99.95% pure tantalum and trace amounts of tungsten and molybdenum to improve their properties. The mechanical properties are tensile strength of 275-350 MPa, yield strength of 140-200 MPa, and elongation of 10-15%. The physical properties consist of high density of 16.65 g/cm³ and melting point of 3,017°C. Tantalum rods, renowned for their excellent corrosion resistance, especially in harsh environments such as strong acids and high temperature, are perfect for application in chemical processing, aerospace, and electronics industries.
