Tungsten rods consist mostly of pure tungsten (W), sometimes supplemented with minor quantities of other metals such as nickel or iron for improving certain characteristics. Tungsten possesses an extremely high melting point of 3,422°C and density of 19.25 g/cm³ and is among the densest and heat-resistant metals. Mechanical characteristics are tensile strength of 500-900 MPa with elongation 1-10%. The Tungsten rods are highly corrosion-resistant, wear-resistant, and heat-resistant, making them suitable for aerospace, electronics, and industrial applications demanding durability and heat resistance.
