Copper Tungsten 80/20 Rod is made up of 80% tungsten and 20% copper, which brings together the strength of tungsten and the conductivity of copper. It has good thermal and electrical conductivity, wear resistance, and high-temperature stability. The rod has a density of around 14.8 g/cm³, a thermal conductivity of 190 W/m·K and an electrical conductivity of around 30% IACS. Its mechanical characteristics are a hardness of 185-250 HV, tensile strength of 600-800 MPa, and a melting point of over 3,400°C. This product is suitable for EDM electrodes, electrical contacts and high-performance uses needing toughness and conductivity.
