Super Duplex Steel S32760 contains 25-30% chromium, 4-6% nickel, 3-5% molybdenum, 0.2-0.3% nitrogen, and traces of copper, manganese, and silicon. The special composition offers exceptional corrosion resistance, pitting resistance, and stress corrosion cracking resistance. The mechanical properties include high tensile strength (to 800 MPa), yield strength (to 550 MPa), and superb toughness. Physical characteristics include a density of 7.8 g/cm³, high thermal conductivity, and high corrosion resistance to chloride-induced corrosion, thus being perfectly suitable for applications in aggressive marine and industrial conditions.
