Nickel Alloy 201 Tubing consists of 99% nickel, with minor quantities of iron (up to 0.4%) and other constituents such as copper and manganese. This makes it highly resistant to corrosion, especially in reducing and alkaline conditions. Mechanical properties consist of tensile strength of 350-550 MPa, yield strength of 140-280 MPa, and elongation of 40-60%. The hardness is generally 80-150 HB. Physically, the tubing has superior electrical and thermal conductance, excellent fatigue life, and is well suited for chemical processing, food, and marine applications.
