Nickel Alloy 201 Stud Bolts consist mainly of 99% nickel with minor additions of iron, manganese, and silicon and have great resistance to corrosion in reducing environments. Their mechanical properties consist of high tensile strength (of about 55,000 to 75,000 psi) and satisfactory yield strength, providing reliability under stress. The bolts have good elongation and impact resistance even at low temperatures. Physically, Nickel Alloy 201 possesses a melting point of around 1,455°C, minimum thermal expansion, and higher resistance to oxidation and acid corrosion due to which it is best suited for hostile environments.
