Titanium Gr 6 Pipes (Ti-5Al-2.5Sn) consist of 90% titanium, 5% aluminum, and 2.5% tin. The mechanical properties are tensile strength of about 900 MPa, yield strength of 830 MPa, and elongation of 10-15%. The physical properties are density of 4.43 g/cm³, melting point of 1,650°C, and superior corrosion resistance, especially in seawater and aggressive chemicals. These pipes possess high strength, good fatigue resistance, and good weldability and are, therefore, well-suited for aerospace, marine, and chemical processing uses that demand lightweight and tough materials.
