Nickel Alloy 201 Wire is essentially composed of 99% nickel with traces of iron, manganese, silicon, and carbon. The mechanical properties have a tensile strength of 55-75 ksi, yield strength of 30-60 ksi, and elongation of 30-40%. The physical properties are characterized by a density of 8.89 g/cm³, thermal conductivity of 90 W/m·K, and a melting point of about 1455°C. Popular for its good corrosion resistance in alkaline and caustic media and good electrical and thermal conductivity, Nickel Alloy 201 Wire finds good use in electronics, chemical processing, and aerospace applications.
