Nickel Alloy 201 Nuts consist mainly of 99% pure nickel, trace amounts of iron, manganese, and silicon, providing excellent corrosion resistance, particularly in reducing environments. The mechanical properties are tensile strength of between 55,000 to 75,000 psi and good yield strength, providing reliability in high-pressure applications. These nuts also provide excellent elongation and impact resistance, even at low temperatures. Physically, Nickel Alloy 201 possesses a melting point of approximately 1,455°C, low thermal expansion, and outstanding resistance to oxidation, hence suitable for extreme conditions.
