AWS Class ERNiCrMo-3 SAW and flux welding wire, which is applied in welding nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloys such as Hastelloy C276, contains a chemical composition of predominantly nickel (≥60%) followed by considerable proportions of chromium (20-23%) and molybdenum (8-10%). It offers superior corrosion resistance particularly in extreme chemical environments. It mechanically offers tensile strength of ≥690 MPa, yield strength of ≥400 MPa and elongation of ≥30%. Physical properties include a density of 8.5 g/cm³ and melting range of 1320-1390°C, which provide for high weldability, toughness and stability under cryogenic and high temperature conditions.
