Barsham Nickel Alloys is a world-class Doha Qatar-based manufacturer and supplier of high-quality nickel alloy products aimed at fulfilling various industrial applications. Holding a close association with innovation and accuracy, Barsham Nickel Alloys provides best-in-class solutions for critical applications. Among their highest-grade products is the AWS Class ERNiCr-3 SAW and Flux Welding Wire, developed for the highest level of performance in submerged arc welding. This welding wire provides superior corrosion resistance, consistent strength, and quality weld, and is therefore best suited for demanding engineering and fabrication applications globally.
AWS Class ERNiCr-3 SAW and Flux welding wire is a chromium-nickel alloy with composition of about 72% nickel, 20% chromium and trace of iron, manganese, and others. It contains superior corrosion resistance, especially under oxidizing as well as reducing conditions. From a mechanical aspect, it includes tensile strength of about 690 MPa and satisfactory ductility, and thus forms satisfactory welds for critical uses. Physically, it has a density of 8.4 g/cm³, a melting range of 1300–1370°C, and thermal conductivity of 11.2 W/m·K, which makes it suitable for welding nickel alloys and stainless steel.
