Monel K500 Flanges consist of a nickel-copper alloy with the addition of aluminum and titanium. The makeup consists of 63% nickel, 27-33% copper, 2.3-3.15% aluminum, 0.35-0.85% titanium and trace amounts of iron, manganese, and silicon. Monel K500 has a tensile strength of 965 MPa, yield strength of 690 MPa, and elongation of 20%, and it has good corrosion resistance and high-temperature characteristics. Its physical characteristics involve a density of 8.44 g/cm³, melting range of 1315-1350°C, and thermal conductivity of 17 W/m·K, which make it suitable for aggressive environments.
