Monel 400 Flanges are made up of approximately 63% Nickel and 28-34% Copper with minor amounts of iron, manganese, carbon, and silicon. They possess good mechanical properties with tensile strength of 480-620 MPa, yield strength of 170-345 MPa and elongation of 20-35%. Their hardness is 65-85 HRB. From the physical properties, Monel 400 has a density of 8.8 g/cm³ melting point of 1,350°C, and high resistance to oxidation and corrosion. These properties ensure high strength, long-term durability, and excellent performance in hostile environments.
