Incoloy 825 Stud Bolts are nickel-iron-chromium alloys with molybdenum, copper and titanium additions. They have a composition of Ni 38-46%, Fe balance, Cr 19.5-23.5%, Mo 2.5-3.5%, Cu 1.5-3%, Ti 0.6-1.2%. They provide tensile strength of 585 MPa, yield strength of 220 MPa, and elongation of 30%. They are physically 8.14 g/cm³ in density, 1370-1400°C in melting point and 10.8 W/m·K in thermal conductivity. These characteristics offer good corrosion resistance high strength, and good weldability and hence are well suited for severe environments such as marine, chemical, and nuclear applications.
