Incoloy 800, 800H, and 800HT stud bolts are high-performance alloys consisting mainly of nickel (30-35%), iron (bal.), and chromium (19-23%), with titanium and aluminum additions. The materials have excellent oxidation, carburization, and high-temperature corrosion resistance and are thus suitable for applications in power plants and chemical processing. The mechanical properties are high tensile strength, good weldability, and creep resistance, especially in the 800H/HT variants. They are physically good thermal conductors, have thermal expansion, and resist stress rupture and retain strength under extreme temperatures.
