Incoloy 825 tubing is nickel-iron-chromium alloy with molybdenum, copper, and titanium as additions, which is known to provide excellent corrosion resistance in seawater as well as acid environments. Nickel (38-46%), Iron (22% min), Chromium (19.5-23.5%), Molybdenum (2.5-3.5%), Copper (1.5-3%), and Titanium (0.6-1.2%) are its composition. Mechanical properties are tensile strength of 585 MPa, yield strength of 220 MPa, and elongation of 30%. It is strong at elevated temperatures and stress corrosion cracking resistant, and it is well suited for chemical process, marine, and nuclear service.
