Incoloy 825 coils consist of nickel-iron-chromium alloys having heavy additions of copper, molybdenum, and titanium, giving superb corrosion resistance. They consist of about 38-46% nickel, 19.5-23.5% iron, 19-23% chromium, 2.5-3.5% molybdenum, and 1.5-3% copper. They show tensile strength around 585 MPa, yield strength around 220 MPa, and elongation about 30%. With a density of 8.14 g/cm³ and melting point of 1370-1400°C, these coils exhibit superior resistance to acidic and oxidizing conditions and are thus best suited for chemical processing, marine and pollution control uses.
