Incoloy 800, 800H, and 800HT wires are nickel-iron-chromium alloys with higher strength and resistance to oxidation at elevated temperatures. They contain about 30-35% nickel, 19-23% chromium, with minute additions of aluminum and titanium for stability. The mechanical behavior differs, with tensile strength of about 450-600 MPa, yield strength of 170-275 MPa, and elongation of 30-45%. Physically, the alloys possess a density of 7.94 g/cm³, a melting range between 1357-1385°C, and good heat conductance. They find applications in heat exchangers, furnace parts and petrochemical uses because they exhibit corrosion and creep resistance.
