Hastelloy Alloy N Pipes are essentially made up of nickel (Ni) with major additions of molybdenum (Mo), iron (Fe), and chromium (Cr), which improve their corrosion resistance, strength, and thermal stability. Their mechanical characteristics comprise tensile strength of around 690 MPa, yield strength of 310 MPa and elongation of 40%, making them durable and flexible. The physical characteristics comprise density of 8.9 g/cm³, melting point of about 1370°C, and high thermal and electrical conductivity. Such characteristics render Hastelloy N pipes very reliable in corrosive and high-temperature environments.
