Titanium Grade 5 Flanges (Ti-6Al-4V) contain 90% titanium, 6% aluminum, and 4% vanadium, giving them high strength, corrosion resistance, and weldability. They have a tensile strength of about 900 MPa, yield strength of 830 MPa, and elongation of 10-15%. Their density is 4.43 g/cm³, making them a light but strong solution. Titanium Grade 5 has superior oxidation resistance and is very durable when exposed to harsh environments and hence is suitable for aerospace, marine, and chemical industries, particularly in corrosive and high-temperature conditions.
