Titanium Gr 2 Wire is commercially pure titanium with a composition mainly made up of 99.2% titanium, with traces of iron (0.1%), oxygen (0.18%), and nitrogen. It has superior mechanical properties, such as tensile strength of 345 MPa, yield strength of 275 MPa, and elongation of 20%. Physical properties are a density of 4.51 g/cm³, melting point of 1,668°C, and good fatigue strength. The wire is extremely resistant to corrosion, particularly in environments where chlorides exist, and provides superior weldability, making it well-suited to critical industrial uses.
