Monel K500 Plates and Sheets contain about 63% Nickel, 29% Copper and small traces of aluminum, titanium, and iron. These plates and sheets have good mechanical properties with a tensile strength of 930-1,110 MPa, yield strength of 480-690 MPa, and elongation of 20-40%. Hardness is usually 85-95 HRB. Physically, Monel K500 is 8.8 g/cm³ in density and 1,400°C in melting point. All these properties render good resistance to corrosion, stress corrosion cracking, and fatigue and long-term durability in harsh conditions.
