Monel K500 pipe fittings consist of about 63% nickel, 30% copper and some aluminum (2.3-3.15%) and titanium (0.35-0.85%). The mechanical properties are very good, with tensile strength of 965 MPa, yield strength of 690 MPa and elongation of 20%. The fittings possess high hardness (Rockwell C30) and better corrosion resistance, particularly in marine and chemical environments. Their physical characteristics are a density of 8.44 g/cm³, thermal conductivity of 17 W/m·K and a melting point of 1315-1350°C, which makes them suitable for high-strength and corrosion-resistant applications.
