Inconel 625 tubing is a nickel-chromium alloy with a composition of about 58% Ni, 20-23% Cr, 8-10% Mo, 3.15-4.15% Nb, and trace amounts of Fe, Co, and other elements. It has very good mechanical properties, such as tensile strength of about 930 MPa, yield strength of 517 MPa, and elongation of 42%. It has a physical density of 8.44 g/cm³, a melting point of 1290-1350°C, and a thermal conductivity of 9.8 W/m·K. The alloy is known to possess excellent corrosion resistance, high-temperature strength, and excellent weldability, and therefore it is perfectly suited for extreme conditions.
