Hastelloy N Wire is a nickel alloy (Ni-72%, Mo-16%, Cr-7%, Fe-5%) having a very good oxidation and corrosion resistance at elevated temperatures. Its tensile strength is around 690 MPa, yield strength is 310 MPa, and elongation is 40%. Its density is 8.9 g/cm³ and has a melting range of 1370–1410°C. The alloy has great resistance to creep and remains stable when under high heat conditions rendering it perfect for use in aerospace and nuclear industries. Its thermal conductivity is approximately 11 W/m·K, making it very effective in heat-intensive environments.
