Copper Nickel 90/10 forged fittings consist of 90% copper and 10% nickel, which provides superior resistance to corrosion, especially in seawater and hostile environments. Mechanical properties are tensile strength of 415-550 MPa, yield strength of 170-275 MPa, and elongation of 40-60%. The fittings have high resistance to stress corrosion cracking, superior thermal conductivity, and good weldability. Physically, Copper Nickel 90/10 has a weight of 8.9 g/cm³, melting point of 1,200°C, and good resistance to biofouling, which makes it suit marine as well as industrial applications.
