Copper Nickel Washers contain 90% copper and 10% nickel with some trace elements of iron and manganese for strength and corrosion resistance. They have superb mechanical properties: tensile strength of 310-380 MPa and elongation of 30-40% which supports durability under pressure Physically, they contain a density level of 8.9 g/cm³ with a melting point of 1100°C. They are very resistant to corrosion by seawater and hence they are suitable for marine use, heat exchangers and condensers with good thermal and electrical conductivity.
