Copper Nickel Screws are generally produced from a 90/10 (90% Copper, 10% Nickel) or 70/30 (70% Copper, 30% Nickel) alloy. They have superior corrosion resistance, particularly in seawater environments. Some of their mechanical properties are tensile strength of 350-550 MPa, yield strength of 100-240 MPa, and elongation of 30-50%. Some of their physical properties have a density of 8.9 g/cm³, thermal conductivity of 50 W/m·K, and melting point of approximately 1100°C. These screws are extensively used in marine, chemical, and industrial applications due to their strength, durability, and biofouling resistance.
