Copper Nickel 90/10 coil contains 90% copper and 10% nickel with a corrosion-resistant feature that is excellent in seawater conditions. The traces of iron and manganese are present in the composition to improve its strength and durability. The properties are mechanical and involve high tensile strength with values around 420 MPa, along with satisfactory elongation of 40% or greater, to suit it for the purposes of shaping and welding. Physically, the alloy has 8.9 g/cm³ density and melts at 1,200°C. The alloy also possesses exceptional thermal and electric conductivity.
